How many weeks is each session? ANS: Each session is 10 weeks long.
What time are the games? ANS: We play Monday-Thursday and Sunday. The Monday-Thursday game times are 6,7,8,9 and 10 P.M.. The Sunday game times are 1,2,3,4 and 5 P.M..
How many players are on the court? ANS: We play with 6 people on the court. That is 3 guys and 3 girls. You can play more girls but the most guys you can have on the court is 3. You can play with 5 players and the team would be 3 guys and 2 girls or you can have more girls on the court. You can also play with 4 players and the team would be 2 guys and 2 girls or you can play more girls..
When are the leagues? ANS: The Spring session starts in March. The Summer session starts in June. The Fall session starts in August. We do not have a winter session because the court is outside.
Are the leagues competitive? ANS: This is a recreational league. We do have some nights that are more competitive than others.
Do we have a set roster? ANS: You don't have a set roster so you can have people sub if a regular player can not make a game. You can have more than 6 players on a team and rotate players in and out.
Is there a referee? ANS: Yes there is a referee and this cost is included in your league fees.
Is there a tournament? ANS: Yes, there is a free tournament at the end of each session with free food and beer. The tournament is an optional seeded tournament for all the teams that played that session. The winners get a trophy and a gift certificate.
How do we sign up? ANS: You can sign up online at www.truemanssoulard.com or at the bar.
Is there open play? ANS: Yes, the court is available for free play Friday night, Saturday day and night and Sunday night. The court and patio can be reserved for parties.
